The service
Fieldnote Editorial prepares short, sourced market pieces for one professional per sector in each market. A market is a country, or in the United States a metropolitan area. Sector and market are agreed by email before the first piece.
Trial
The first five pieces are prepared over ten days at no cost and with no obligation. They are yours to use whether or not you continue.
Subscription
After the trial the service runs monthly: eight pieces a month, normally two a week, delivered by email with their sources. The monthly fee is confirmed by email before any charge and is billed in advance, plus VAT where it applies. You can cancel at any time by email. The service then ends at the end of the month already paid, and nothing further is charged.
Exclusivity
While you are subscribed, we do not prepare pieces for anyone else in your sector and market. If your focus changes, we move your place with you where it is still open.
Use of the pieces
Once delivered, the pieces are yours to publish, adapt or keep under your own name. We will not publish them ourselves or say that we wrote them. Please read each piece before publishing: you decide what appears under your name.
Accuracy
Every material fact is checked against a public source available on the day of writing, and the sources are sent with each piece. If a source is later revised, we tell you. The pieces are market commentary, not investment, legal or tax advice.
Confidentiality
We keep your identity as a client, and anything you tell us, confidential.
Liability
Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
